Probably the best 2-day stay we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The lodge itself is faultless, pretty impressive given you’re in the middle of nowhere! The staff are fantastically friendly and knowledgeable. Of particular note was our guide Marco who went to every effort to make sure we saw as much of the wildlife as possible. The spa is lovely and Toya is fantastic. Everyone spoke highly of how much the owners care for not only the staff but also the animals and environment - not something you hear often.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Game drives exceeded our expectations with close encounters of the Big Five and adorable baby animals. Our knowledgeable ranger, Chelee, ensured fantastic photo opportunities. Dwyaka Lodge was stunning, offering luxurious glamping with comfortable beds and private hot tubs. The friendly staff and delicious, diverse food made our stay extra special. Perfect for families, with childcare available for young kids during game drives. Beautiful landscape, different from Kruger but breathtaking. A long drive from Cape Town, but worth the journey into the jaw-dropping wilderness.

We had an unforgettable experience at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. The game drives were absolutely out of this world, with our knowledgeable guide, Jordan, taking us on thrilling adventures and getting us up close to cheetahs and elephants. The lodge itself was beautiful, with spacious rooms and stunning views. The service was excellent, with lovely touches like hot towels and drinks. The only downside was the variable quality of meals, but the amazing wildlife encounters more than made up for it. I highly recommend this unforgettable experience at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve.

The service at the lodge was top-notch, with friendly staff who were always willing to help. The rooms were spacious and clean, with amazing bathrooms that had both indoor and outdoor showers. The game drives were exceptional, with knowledgeable rangers who made sure we had a memorable experience and saw a variety of animals.
The road to the lodge was quite rough and bumpy, which made for an uncomfortable journey. Additionally, the variety of vegetarian options on the menu was limited, and there were a few instances where non-vegan ingredients were accidentally included in the meals.
